Another weekend and another movie we got for you. The Others (2001) is my suggestion for the weekend ahead, an intriguing and tensed horror thriller, that will keep you on your toes until the very end. This is a PG-13 rated movie.
On the secluded Isle of Jersey in the final days of World War II, a young woman waits in vain for her beloved husband to return from the front. Grace has been raising her two young children alone in her beautiful, cavernous Victorian mansion, the one place she believes them to be safe. The children have photosensitivity (allergy to sunlight), a disease which means they cannot be touched by direct sunlight without being hurt in some way. They will live alone there with oppressive, strange and almost religious rules, until she needs to hire a group of servants for them. When a new trio of servants arrives to replace the crew that inexplicably disappeared, startling events begin to unfold. Grace’s daughter reveals she has been communicating with unexplained apparitions that come and go in every room of the house…
